The Life of a Recycling Technician:
Each and every SARCAN team member is an important part of our team and community. As a recycling technician you will be responsible for:

Basic reading, writing and numeracy skills.
-
Basic computer skills; use of computer is required.
-
Ability to focus on own work, including counting and recording containers.
-
Ability to follow instructions and ensure tasks are completed in the appropriate sequence.
-
Ability to communicate with customers and answer questions in a courteous and professional manner.
-
To be dependable and a team player.
-
Must provide a satisfactory criminal record check as a condition of employment.

Casual Disability Support Worker

We are Hiring!
Join our team as a Casual Disability Support Worker! We are looking for individuals who are passionate, dedicated and ready to make a positive impact in the community. This is the perfect opportunity if you are looking for some extra hours that work around your schedule.

- You are a stay at home mom looking for extra hours in between your busy schedule.
- A recent graduate who wants hands-on work experience while balancing other commitments.
- Or someone who just loves the idea of working on a casual basis - picking up shifts that work for YOU!
The Life of a DSP:
All of our team members help the participants each and every day. As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

Supporting participants in activities of daily living including social interactions by aiding, guiding and training to increase or maintain independence.
-
Provide participants' personal care and grooming.
-
Assist participants in obtaining toiletries, clothing, medications, and services such as hair cuts.
-
Prepare nutritional meals.
-
Record information on participants abilities, skills, and behaviors through reports, charts, etc.
-
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
-
Awake and alert on all shifts, including night shifts.
-
Basic reading, writing and numeracy skills.
-
Basic computer skills - use of a computer is required.
-
To be a dependable and team player.
-
Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Drivers License.

Must provide a satisfactory criminal record check as a condition of employment.

Proficient in English.
